Do I have to stay at Bora Bora Hotel?
No, you don’t have to stay at Bora Bora Hotel.
Bora Bora will be the hub of Soul Session Malta 2027. For those who want to stay close to the community and right at the heart of the festival, we recommend staying at Bora Bora.
Alternatively, there are plenty of hotels and accommodation options around the St Paul’s Bay area.
Event Information
What are the official dates?
Soul Session Malta 2027 takes place from Thursday 12th August to Monday 16th August 2027.
What are the event times?
Events will take place from Thursday 12th August through to Monday 16th August.
Our official Welcome Party takes place on Thursday, so we strongly recommend arriving as early as possible on Thursday — or, even better, arriving the day before so you can check in, settle in and be ready for the festival.
Where can I find the full set times?
Full set times and event details will be released closer to the festival.
Wristbands & Box Office
What happens if I lose my wristband?
Wristbands will be issued upon arrival. Please take good care of your wristband throughout the festival.
Lost or damaged wristbands will only be replaced at management’s discretion and a £150 replacement fee will apply.
Where is the Box Office located and what are the opening hours?
The main Box Office for wristband collection will be located at Bora Bora Hotel.
Our friendly team will be on hand to welcome you and assist with your wristband collection.
Further details regarding additional wristband collection points and opening hours will be announced closer to the festival.
Tickets & Payments
I can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Refunds or exchanges will only be offered if the event is cancelled or rescheduled by the organisers. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges for cancellations made by customers.
How much are tickets?
Your full five-day festival pass starts from £179.
You can purchase your pass in full or choose from our available payment plan options.

What is included in my ticket?
Your event wristband gives you access to Soul Session Malta events from 12th–16th August 2027, excluding the Boat Party and any separately ticketed VIP events.
Your ticket does not include flights, accommodation or transfers to and from Malta.
Transportation between Bora Bora Hotel and our off-site events can be purchased separately.
Join us for pool parties, club nights, beach events and themed experiences throughout the five-day festival.
What is the music policy?
Expect a feel-good soundtrack of soulful house, Afro house, deep house, garage, R&B, soul, reggae and party classics — grown-up stuff!
From daytime grooves to late-night anthems, Soul Session is all about great music, good vibes and keeping the party going.
Can I resell my ticket?
No. Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be resold.
What age do I have to be?
Soul Session Malta is strictly 30+.
Can I pay by instalments?
Yes. Payment plan options will be available, including the option to pay in three instalments with Klarna, subject to the applicable terms.
What happens if I miss a planned payment?
If a scheduled payment is missed, please contact our team as soon as possible. Your booking may be at risk of cancellation if payments remain outstanding.

Flights & Travel
Are flights included with my ticket?
No. Flights are not included and must be purchased separately.
Which airport should I fly into?
You should fly into Malta International Airport (MLA).
Food & Drink
Will food be available during the festival?
Food will be available at selected events and venues throughout the festival.
Guests staying at Bora Bora Hotel can also enjoy the hotel’s on-site food options. There are also plenty of restaurants, bars and eateries in the surrounding St Paul’s Bay area.
Further information about food options at individual events will be provided closer to the festival.
Can I bring my own food or drink to the events?
No. Outside food and drink is not permitted at our events.

How hot is Malta in August?
August is one of the warmest months in Malta, with average daytime highs around 31°C and temperatures typically remaining warm into the evening.
Perfect weather for five days of sunshine, music and Soul Session!
Where are the best areas to stay?
There are many great places to stay across Malta.
For those attending Soul Session, we recommend looking around St Paul’s Bay or Sliema, depending on your preferred location and accommodation requirements.
Bora Bora Hotel will be the hub of the Soul Session community throughout the festival.
What currency do I need?
Malta uses the Euro (€).
Euros can be obtained before travelling or from ATMs and currency exchange services in Malta. Cards are also widely accepted.
What is the best way to travel around Malta?
Transportation to and from our events can be purchased separately as part of our event transport offering.
If you’re making your own way around Malta, Uber and Bolt are convenient options, alongside local taxis and public transport.
