‘God Made Me Funky’ was established in 2000 by Sammy Confunktion.
Sammy saw the need and had the desire to put the fun back into clubbing.
Hosting themed nights like the ever popular ‘Afro Party and the ‘Mad Hatter Party’
He blended these parties with his love for Funk, Soul and Boogie that Confunktion was renowned for, throwing very popular underground parties at venues like Motion, Den & Centro, The End and ‘The Embankment’ to name a few.
He also had a strong passion for Soulful House, Disco and dance music in general.
It’s been a while since the infamous God Made Me Funky came out to play and 2019 sees the return of one of London’s favourite events at the new Favela nightclub Camden on Saturday 27th April 2019.
On the night you can expect to hear Soulful & Funky House, RnB, Soul, Funk & Boogie.
Let the music do the talking and see you on Saturday 27th April 2019 for the return of ‘God Made Me Funky’.
